Harry Arter admits Fulham boss Scott Parker has helped Tottenham striker Troy Parrott in the early stages of his career.
Arter's brother-in-law Parker, who is in charge of Fulham, moulded the talents of young Dubliner Parrott in his formative days in the Tottenham under-18 team, and he has revealed that the star quality that has long been mentioned has always been in evidence.
“I knew about Troy because Scott was his under-18 coach at Tottenham and he was one of the boys that had something different about him from a young age," stated Arter, now with Nottingham Forest, told the Sunday World.
“He has some unique qualities and they have been in evidence since he was very young.
“We saw a glimpse of that the other night in Andorra with his two goals, and it should give him confidence that he can do it at international level.
“At the moment, we are lacking goals and no one has really taken that attacking position and made it their own, so Troy has a chance to do that moving forward."
