Fulham boss Scott Parker found some positives in defeat to Liverpool.

André Frank Zambo Anguissa was brought into midfield, and impressed in the Fulham engine room with a powerful performance.

And when asked if he thought it was his best showing in a Whites shirt, Parker replied: “I definitely did. I thought Frank was superb today.

“He's had a difficult time, coming in for a big transfer fee, and getting up to speed with the league has been difficult at times.

“You look at any player in his position, you look at all the top teams, whether it's Fred at Man United or Fabinho at Liverpool, early on in the season they're not playing too much because they're trying to get up to the pace of the Premier League.

“Frank just needed time to settle in and I thought certainly today he was first class, he did really well. I was really pleased for him."
