Fulham boss Scott Parker is desperate to keep Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
But the manager accepts there are no guarantees with the transfer window is open.
The Cameroon midfielder, 24, is wanted by both Spanish outfit Villareal, where he starred on loan last season, and Italians AC Milan.
Parker said, “It's very important for us to keep him because of his quality. I see a real good platform for Frank this year, being in the Premier League, to show what he's about.
“The problem is the uncertainty you have when the window is open and the season is on-going. It's always a concern that someone comes in for one of your players.
“That's what we're living with. Let's see where we are after the window closes."
