Fulham boss Felix Magath feels Mahamadou Diarra can add to their cutting edge.
The former Real Madrid and Lyon midfielder signed a short-term deal with Fulham this week.
Magath said: "I wanted the club to give him a contract because he is very experienced and he is a very, very good player.
"With his personality he was always thinking to play forward. The first touch he will play the ball forward, so I think if he is ready to play he can help us a lot in improving our forward play."
