Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic insists that he is doing the right thing by promoting an attacking playstyle at the club.
Some fans and pundits have questioned whether a newly promoted side should be playing in such a way.
Fulham are 15th with four points from their opening five games.
They have scored seven goals in those games, but conceded 12.
However, Jokanovic insists his style is the right way to get them up the table.
He said to Sky Sports: "People will criticise coaches if they pick players for a defensive game.
"In our case people are asking if we can be a little more pragmatic. But for me being pragmatic is being brave. The brave choice for me is the best way to win the game."
