Fulham boss Mark Hughes says the club is delighted for striker Bobby Zamora over his England call up.
Hughes believes Zamora can profit from the 'wind of change' within the England camp after the team's World Cup disappointment and cement his place in the side.
Hughes said: "We're delighted for Bobby. It's recognition for his fine play in recent times.
"He looks a good player and he has to kick on now and be one of the main players in the Premier League.
"If he has an opportunity and he gets the shirt, it's all about grasping it. He mustn't allow the progress that he's undoubtedly made in recent times to waver. There's a wind of change in the England squad, and he may well benefit from that.
"What Bobby's got to do is build on last year and the performances that have been highlighted by Capello. If he has a similar season we benefit and obviously England will, because we'll both have a player with great ability."
