Fulham attacker Ryan Babel regrets leaving Liverpool back in 2011.

Babel scored against the Reds in defeat last week.

He told Veotbol International: “I went to Liverpool at a young age, but I played quite a lot in my first year.

“The club wanted to keep me, but yes, I was out of the picture with the Dutch national team.

“With the knowledge of today I know that I then I made a panic move to Hoffenheim."
