Fulham attacker Ivan Cavaleiro says they deserved their 1-1 draw with Tottenham.

Cavaleiro struck against Spurs and insists it was the right result.

He said, "I think we played very well. Since the beginning, we were sure that we could control the game and we had good chances.

"We reacted very well after their goal and the second half we could turn the game. We played for our lives and fair play to our team because I think in the second half we were better than them.

"Tottenham have a very good team but we have good quality players and our focus was defend as a team and with our quality, it made a difference."
