Bobby Zamora would like to return and play for Brighton again in the future, the club were he began his goalscoring career. The Fulham striker hit 70 goals in 119 league games and two successive promotions for the Seagulls before joining Tottenham in 2003.
He made the claim in the Albion-themed book 'Match Of My Life'.
"I am loving being at Fulham - largely because I am playing every week again," he said.
"But one day I would love to come back to Brighton and play for the Albion again. I always tell my mates that I will go back there at some point in the future.
"Those two seasons are right up there with everything else that I have subsequently achieved in football.
"It was phenomenal and as far as memories go, I don't think that can be beaten."
