Charlton have re-signed young defender Matt Fry on loan from West Ham until January. The 19-year-old, who recently signed a two-year deal at Upton Park, spent the final two months of last season with the Addicks but did not manage a first-team appearance.
Under the terms of the `youth loan' deal Fry will also be eligible to play reserve matches for the Hammers, who have retained the right to recall him at any stage after the first 28 days have elapsed.
Fry also has permission to play in the Carling Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
