Frustrated Sheff Wed chairman wants to see new signings

Sheffield Wednesday chair Milan Mandaric is becoming impatient at the lack of new signings for the club. Though manager Gary Megson has made two signings in Rob Jones and David Prutton, the progress of another two potential recruits is slower than expected.

But Mandaric admitted he wants the signings to be completed as soon as possible.

"Everything is moving very slowly at the moment," Mandaric told the Sheffield Star. "We are progressing slower than I would want but I am positive that we will assemble the type of team that Gary (Megson) wants.

"It is frustrating, but sometimes you have to face facts and that these things take time."
