Frozen out Man City veteran Yaya Toure revives PSG contact

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is back in touch with PSG chiefs.

City boss Pep Guardiola has effectively ended Toure's Blues career after insisting he would never play for his first team again unless agent Dimitri Seluk apologises for being critical of the manager.

Instead, Seluk is now reviving contact with PSG about signing Toure in January.

The outspoken agent recently revealed: "Paris SG wanted to sign him. But City would only allow this to happen if they saw the money they wanted. When I asked how much City wanted for the transfer, they said it depended on the interested club.

"If the club had qualified for the Champions League, they would demand a lot of money. Also I was told he could not go anywhere else in England."
