Former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Steffen Freund can see Jadon Sancho returning to England.

The BVB starlet, who joined from Manchester City 18 months ago, is a target for Manchester United.

And Freund told Goal: "The Bundesliga is not strong enough financially to compete with the best Premier League teams. For this reason, it is possible to sign young English players when they do not play regularly. It's a good option to join the Bundesliga and play for Bayern, Schalke or Borussia. They are great European clubs.

"Borussia Dortmund is a club that sells its best players in the end, and that's why Jason Sancho may be in the Premier League in the next three or four years. Of course it's possible to see him come back (in the Bundesliga), maybe to Bayern, but I still think they cannot compete financially with the best teams in the Premier League."
