Newcastle United are the subject of a new takeover approach.
The Mirror says Mike Ashley could be offered a £350million route out of Newcastle with claims of another takeover bid.
The controversial owner is reported to have visited the United States to discuss the final stages of a sale of the Tyneside club.
Newcastle have insisted it is business as usual at St James' Park with no one at the club aware of advanced talks.
The claims have been made by a credible US website with reputable contact's in the world of takeovers and acquisitions.
Ashley put the club up for sale a year ago, but despite high profile interest from financier Amanda Staveley who claimed she was making written bids, Ashley didn't sell.
