Frenkie de Jong has offered his first words as a Barcelona player.

Former Ajax midfielder De Jong revealed his delight at joining the Catalan club via Twitter.

In the video, published on the official Barcelona account he showed his enthusiasm for the new chapter in his career.

"Hi Barca fans," de Jong said. "Frenkie here. This summer I will move to Barcelona. I'm very happy, proud, excited, and see you then."
