French pundit Daniel Riolo has welcomed news that Mauricio Pochettino is set to take charge of PSG.
The ex-Tottenham manager is a former PSG player and set to replace Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked on Christmas Eve.
Discussing sporting director Leonardo, Riolo said: "The boss of the players will no longer be able to hide behind a coach that he did not want and will have to assume everything. Leo didn't want Tuchel, he wants Pochettino - that can change everything.
"Naming the Argentina coach is very good news. First, because he always wanted to return to PSG. He spoke about it from the start of his coaching career. Then because he has an attractive vision of the game. Pochettino is a 'son' of (Marcelo) Bielsa.
"PSG supporters must be happy to know that! His personality will seduce everyone and put a smile on the face of the PSG family. Let there be no doubt, it is a beautiful Christmas present that Leonardo has just given to the supporters of the club…"
