Newcastle United are seeking £3 million for Sylvain Marveaux.
The Journal says United have circulated the names of Gabriel Obertan, Hatem Ben Arfa, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Marveaux to clubs in France as they look to refresh their squad.
But their valuation of Marveaux is currently putting off interested suitors over the Channel.
