Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu has confirmed he's a target for Arsenal.

Soyuncu is in-demand following his fine performances in the Bundesliga, with Arsenal's head of recruitment Sven Mislintat a big admirer of the 21-year-old.

The centre-back is currently away with the Turkish national team and, speaking to the Turkish media, he stated that his future will be sorted once he returns to Germany following the game against Russia on June 5.

"Arsenal are one of the most important clubs in England," he said. "I know they're interested in me, but there's nothing finalised yet about my transfer.

"After the national team camp we'll have talks."
