Free agent Silvestre rejects chance of Turkish move

According to L'Equipe, experienced defender Mikael Silvestre has turned down an offer from Turkish outfit Kayserispor. They were reportedly ready to offer the Frenchman an annual salary of €1.3 million, but the former Arsenal player is not interested in moving to Turkey.

Silvestre has been a free agent ever since he was released by the Gunners earlier this summer and has since been looking for a new club.

Clubs such as Fulham, West Ham United and Wigan Athletic are all believed to be interested in securing the services of the 33 year old veteran defender.
