Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser said a goal on his return to Premier League action was a relief after a spell out of the side.
The Scotland winger was recalled by Eddie Howe for the 1-1 draw with Southampton on Sunday and repaid his manager's faith with a first-half goal.
"It's been a tough, tough time for me being out," Fraser told BBC Sport.
"But, before the game, the manager told me this was my chance so I knew if I had one on goal, I had to take it."
"It was such a good feeling," he told BBC Radio Solent. "Instead of being happy, I was more relieved.
"I needed that to get my confidence back and after a couple more games, I think I will be flying again."
"I'm just going to take it as it comes," the 23 year old added. "I'll be trying to get my goals up as I scored four last season and so far with one in the cup, I've got two this season."
