Fraser to leave New York Red Bulls for Toronto

Robin Fraser is set to depart his role at New York Red Bulls to join Toronto FC according to reports.

BigAppleSoccer.com suggests that the Red Bulls assistant will take up a similar role at BMO Field after spending the past two years under Mike Petke.

Fraser, who has previously been assistant at Real Salt Lake and head coach at Chivas USA, has worked with TFC boss Greg Vanney in the past and it looks likely that the pair will reunite in Ontario.

Fraser and Vanney played with the LA Galaxy together between 1996 and 2000 with the latter acting as right-hand man when the former was at the helm at Chivas in 2011/12.
