Frank lauds 'crazy' Brentford mentality after comeback draw with Leicester

Thomas Frank has said he never doubted that Brentford could fight back against Leicester City.

The Bees fought back from 2-0 down to win a point at the King Power Stadium, with Josh Dasilva and Ivan Toney scoring for the visitors.

And Frank has hailed the 'crazy' mentality of his team.

"I think, first half, Leicester were better than us," Frank told Sky Sports. "I think they did a good job.

"I think we were definitely in the game. I think they dominated quite a bit on the ball and found good positions, and we know they're a very, very good team, and if you let [James] Maddison and [Youri] Tielemans dictate the game, it's difficult for any team.

"They created the chance; I think it was Tielemans hitting the post and the set-piece goal. Those were the biggest threat. We didn't create that much going forward."

Frank continued: "We changed a tiny bit at half-time. OK, now we go (laughs) two minutes and then 2-0 down from a... I don't know what they feed them here, you know, that's the fourth worldie (that they've scored against us). This one from 28 yards, so fair play, well done to them to score from that distance, a great goal.

"After that, I just think this group of players, they just have so much determination and mentality it's crazy, the way they worked their way back into the game. Of course, we made a few changes, changed a little bit the system, a lot of offensive players, but it's something we've been practising and want to do. And then the way it paid off was a fantastic feeling, especially with the story of Josh Dasilva as well."
