Franco sees Wigan move stall

A move to Wigan Athletic has stalled for ex-West Ham United striker Guillermo Franco.

The Daily Mail says the proposed move for the Mexico striker has broken down over medical grounds.

The 33-year-old was part of the Mexico World Cup squad and has been training in England to maintain his hope of signing for a Premier League club but tests have unveiled a problem and that has put a free transfer switch to Wigan on hold.
