France coach Didier Deschamps says Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette remains on his radar.
Deschamps left Lacazette out of his squad this week.
He explained: "It's true that he's making an early season where he is efficient and effective. There is competition in this position and from the moment that the players I selected for the World Cup are successful, I continue to rely on them.
"It's not a question of profile, but I'm not going to accumulate multiple players in the same position. It is also necessary to have a balance compared to the list and he occupies a single position of central attacker, with the competition that it involves.
"It does not take away the credit for what he does, he must continue!"
