France coach Didier Deschamps won't hear criticism of Barcelona striker Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann was outstanding in France's victory over Germany on Tuesday, making particular effort to drop back into his own half and contribute on the defensive side of the game.
One particular challenge was forceful and uncharacteristic, but it shows the commitment Griezmann has to the national cause.
"He is one of the best in Europe and in the world," Deschamps enthused in his pre-match press conference.
"Sometimes he works a lot in defence, which he brings with him from club football and I'm not going to tell him not to do it.
"It doesn't prevent him from maintaining his efficiency and his influence in attacking moves, that's been recognised."
Deschamps added: "He is able to chain many matches because he takes great care of himself and is a great professional.
"He only had one knock in the last friendly.
"You only need to look at his statistics to see the influence he has on the national team with his goals and assists."
