France coach Didier Deschamps has jumped to the defence of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Denmark boss Age Hareide questioned Pogba's attitude and ability last week.
But Deschamps insists: "He had a month and a half, two complicated months, yes. The expectations are very high for him, especially since he is able to play all the positions in the middle. He can do everything but he cannot be everywhere.
"Is he putting pressure on himself? It is an engine for some to say 'I want to get there'. Paul is demanding with himself, he wants to give the best. After there is always the same thing with a creative player, you necessarily have a greater risk of waste. There is this right to error. Players, whether creative or not, have the duty to recover themselves when they lose the ball.
"But they also have the freedom to try things when they have it."
