France captain Hugo Lloris says he and Tottenham teammate Pierre Emile Hojbjerg will put their friendship aside when facing Denmark.
The two nations meet in the World Cup on Saturday.
Lloris smiled: "We should probably be friends after the battle. It's just a 90 minute battle where we fight for our countries. The fight is important for both teams, but we put the friendship on the shelf for a while, but are back after the match.
"We have a good friendship and I only have good things to say about Pierre, his way of being and his approach to the game. He is very important to the Danish team.
"It will be good to see him and Christian again. But for the next 90 minutes, we're not teammates, so we each spend our energy on our own team tomorrow."
