North Queensland Fury striker Robbie Fowler will see more action today against Perth Glory. Fury coach Ian Ferguson said yesterday the 34-year-old would get another chance to improve his match fitness against Glory today.
"We're hoping he can play 45 minutes. We've got to make sure Robbie is right, and everyone's right, because it's so close to the start of the season," Ferguson said.
"With any of the players who've been injured, we've got to get them in there and build them up."
Along with Liverpool legend Fowler, Ferguson also plans to give a run to new signing Rostyn Griffiths, the former Blackburn Rovers midfielder.
"He's got huge potential. He's a boy who I've got high hopes for this season," the coach said.
