Cardiff striker Robbie Fowler is confident that he can form a successful partnership with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Neither has managed to get on the scoresheet since moving to Ninian Park but Liverpool legend Fowler is confident his on-field relationship with Hasselbaink will blossom.
"I think Jimmy and myself can forge a bit of a partnership here," he said.
"Obviously it's very early days and it takes time to build an understanding. We did very, very well against (Leyton) Orient. "Against Norwich it wasn't as good, but we both started and we got the points. It's a long road now this season; hopefully we can pull off a good partnership.
"A few more games and I feel we should be firing. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be competing up the top end of the table this season."
