The race for Greenock Morton superkid Jai Quitongo is intensifying.

The Scottish Sun says Southampton are the latest Premier League club to be linked with the Greenock Morton ace, who has been attracting attention from Crystal Palace, Swansea City and Hull City.

But while the Scottish Sun has reported Southampton's interest in the 19-year-old, Palace are said to be the ones considering a £300,000 deal for the son of former Hearts star Jose Quitongo.

The teenager has had spells with Hamilton Academical and Aberdeen, but joined Greenock Morton in 2015, and has impressed so far this season.
