Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger shouldn't be considered for the England job.

Redknapp wrote for the London Evening Standard: "People are talking about Arsene Wenger but I wouldn't want him to have it.

"I'm English and I want an Englishman in charge.

"Arsene is a great manager and has been in the country for 20 years but we should be able to find an English manager to lead the national team."
