Former Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has reached the halfway mark of his marathon bike ride across America.
Sorensen and his wife, Maria, undertook an astonishing 4,000 mile bike ride from the east coast to the west coast of the United States recently, as the couple hope to raise funds for thousands of sick children at both the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and in Denmark.
It has now been revealed that Sorensen has reached the halfway mark of the marathon bike ride with he and his wife now currently in South Dakota.
