Former PSV Eindhoven midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim has been taken on trial by Celtic.

The 20-year old Nigerian youth international recently departed the Dutch club and has now been given an opportunity by the Hoops who will run the rule over him for a couple of days.

"He is on trial," said Lennon. "We have got him in for a few days. We are just going to have a look at him in training this week.

"I know he has had a decent career up until now and he trained on Saturday and looked quite handy but again nothing more than that, just to have a look."

Ibrahim came through the Sporting Lisbon youth academy to become part of the senior roster in 2009 before moving onto PSV following a loan with Portuguese second division club Real Massama.
