Ravel Morrison has revealed there were a number of key European clubs interested in him earlier this year.

Lazio midfielder Morrison had his contract at West Ham United terminated in February which prompted curiosity from clubs in Italy, Portugal and Spain prior to his eventual move to Rome.

"Fiorentina, Napoli, Sporting Lisbon and Atletico Madrid were all interested and talking to my agent," the 22-year-old told The Sun.

Since arriving at Lazio, the former Manchester United youngster has made two substitute appearances in Serie A and four in all appearances for the Biancocelesti.
