Ryan Tunnicliffe is excited about again working closely with one of his former Manchester United teammates.
The Fulham midfielder has joined Wigan Athletic on loan for the remainder of the season and is looking forward to getting the opportunity to link up with Nick Powell who he spent some time with in 2012 and last year.
19-year old Powell has scored seven goals in all competitions for Wigan including one in the 2-0 win over Ipswich Town in September when Tunnicliffe was on loan with the Tractor Boys.
"I played at the DW for Ipswich in the first half of the season, and I thought we were unlucky to be defeated 2-0," he told the Wigan Evening Post.
"But it was a great experience to play here and that should stand me in good stead.
"Nick Powell scored that day. It was a bit of a scruffy goal but that's what he is - a goalscorer.
"I've played with Nick a few times, and we get on very well. I'm hoping to come here and complement his game, and I'm sure he will mine."
