Jerome Boateng is happy at the fact that Premier League sides are pumping money into the Bundesliga by paying extortionate transfer fees.
A record £1billion was spent by Premier League teams on transfers this summer and a lot of the money splashed out by English teams made its way to Germany, with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Abdul Baba Rahman being bought for huge fees.
While the Bundesliga has lost some of its biggest talents this summer, Bayern Munich defender Boateng is thrilled that the money received will help make the German domestic league even stronger.
Boateng told Kicker: "The transfer fees that are being paid are unbelievable, but that's the way football has developed in recent years.
"I think only more money will be spent in the future. The good thing is that all the money from the Premier League finds its way to Germany, allowing clubs here to spend as well."
