Former Liverpool winger Kewell appointed Crawley Town manager

Former Liverpool winger Harry Kewell has taken the manager's job at League Two club Crawley Town.

It is Kewell's first foray into senior management after leaving the Watford U23's in April.

Kewell broke onto the scene in the late 90's for Leeds United before securing a huge move to Liverpool in 2003.

The Australian was able to win the Champions League and FA Cup during what proved to be an injury plagued five-year stint at Anfield.
