Former Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella is happy with the signing of Kostas Tsimikas.

The latter has arrived from Olympiacos to compete for the left back slot in the coming seasons.

The 24-year-old concluded a swift move after passing his medical over the weekend.

Chirivella, who played with Tsimikas for a year at Willem II in 2017/2018, was pleased to hear the news.

He wrote on Twitter: "So happy! Unbelievable player and one of the best guys I met in football.

"Congratulations brother. Enjoy! You will never walk alone."
