Former Leicester City defender Patrick Kisnorbo has knocked back an offer from A-League champions Melbourne Victory. Kisnorbo has endured a tough couple of seasons in England due to serious knee injuries but is intent on winning a contract with another English club.
Melbourne Victory football operations manager Gary Cole said that was the reason for Kisnorbo turning down an offer.
"Patrick's decided he wants to stay and play in the UK,'' Cole said yesterday.
"He's keen to do that.''
The Melbourne-born central defender has been linked with Championship clubs Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace.
