League One Preston are closing in on the signing of former England keeper Richard Wright on a free transfer. The ex-Everton and Ipswich man left Portman Road at the end of last season after his third spell with the club.
The 34 year old, made just one appearance for the Tractor Boys last season and wants first-team football.
