Deon Burton admits he is thoroughly enjoying his time with National League North club Worcester City.
The 38-year-old former Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday striker is preparing for Saturday's Emirates FA Cup clash with Solihull Moors and has revealed that being active in a team pushing for promotion from England's sixth tier.
Burton, who has five Premier League campaigns with the Rams and also played for Jamaica at the 1998 World Cup, told TheFA.com: "I'm feeling great.
"Being around the younger lads has helped me feel young, and I still love the game, otherwise I would have packed it in.
"It's a good compromise as it's part-time so I can continue with my other interest which is coaching."
Regarding the clash with Solihull, who boasts former Aston Villa forward Stefan Moore, ex-QPR defender Marcus Bignot as manager and former Vill and Sunderland forward Darren Byfield as assistant, Burton is well aware just how big a test it will be.
"It's going to be tough as they're top of our league but if you look at the last month we're not doing too bad," he said. "We won at FC United the other day so we're feeling confident ourselves.
"If you look at my last four years I have either been promoted or been in the playoffs – I haven't come here to have a dogfight.
"I've come to push for promotion and hopefully I can help the young lads push up through the league. We've got a good enough squad."
