Arsenal youngster Amani Richards has signed his first professional contract.
The 17-year-old joined Arsenal from Chelsea in March and has impressed with the club's U23 side.
"I feel great, it's a surreal feeling, especially because it's my boyhood club and I grew up supporting them," he told the club's website.
"Representing Arsenal is crazy, no words can describe it, it's out of this world!
"I had a lot of conversations with Per and many other people at the club and I just felt like they believed in me a lot and I felt like this was the best step for me in my journey.
"Playing for the under-23s at 16, that was a really big moment for me, because it really showed how much the club believed in me at a young age, so that was really important to me."
And Richards added that he has been inspired by fellow academy graduate Bukayo Saka.
He added: "Saka is a big inspiration for me, because he's doing it at a big level, on the big stage at such a young age, it's really inspirational."
