Former Chelsea coach Newton: I live my dream in Trabzonspor

Eddie Newton says he's living his dream being in charge of Trabzonspor.

The former Chelsea coach was appointed head coach at the end of last season and after winning the Turkish Cup was confirmed for this campaign.

Newton told Fanatik: "It has been a difficult transfer period. Our President and our managers have done a good work by sticking to the budget. We have new players. We are trying to try different styles. New friends are also doing a great job.

"I live my dream in Trabzonspor. Our job is hard, but I love this support, team and pressure. Because this pressure motivates you, you will achieve success. It is hard to win but it is harder to keep winning. Our goal is to ensure sustainable success."

On the fans, Newton revealed: "I had a photo taken with a fan in the shopping mall. He started telling me which players and which tactics I should play. They told me that everybody in Trabzon understands football, but this was the first time I had experienced such an event!"
