Adelaide United have confirmed the signing of Ryan Griffiths from Chinese club Beijing Baxy.
The 32-year old striker spent the last 12 months with the Chinese League One outfit but is now back in Australia at least for the rest of the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season.
Adelaide general manager of football operations, Michael Petrillo, felt it was a good piece of business by the Reds to bring such a quality goalscorer to South Australia.
"Ryan is an experienced player who Josep feels will suit our game and believes will be a very valuable acquisition adding depth and flexibility to the squad," Petrillo said.
Griffiths has previously spent time with Newcastle Jets, National Bucharest, Rapid Bucharest, Liaoning and Beijing Guoan.
