Forest wing-back Williams hits back at Woodhouse: I had no choice

Nottingham Forest wing-back Neco Williams is not happy after Wales' World Cup exit.

The defender was substituted against England in their final group stage game, after he suffered a head injury during a collision with Marcus Rashford.

Former Sheffield United midfielder Curtis Woodhouse did not believe Williams should have been subbed off due to the incident, stating the possible concussion was not serious.

He wrote on social media: "Sweet Mary and Josepth (sic) !!!! The world has officially gone mad!!!!!!!!! Wales Vs England in the World Cup and you come off after taking a ball to the head! Scream at me all you like but this is utter utter madness! Pathetic".

"When you start seeing double the players on the pitch I think I had no choice," said Williams in response.
