Forest threaten Everton plans for free agent Ayew

Former Swansea striker Andre Ayew has landed in London ahead of his move to the Premier League.

The veteran has received a £2.5 million golden handshake from Qatari side Al Sadd.

Per the Daily Mail, Ayew will hold talks with both Everton and Nottingham Forest to make a move on a free transfer.

The Toffees were hoping to have wrapped up the deal, but Forest now appear to be a serious option for Ayew.

Everton fans are despondent after the club did not sign a single player on deadline day for new boss Sean Dyche.

Ayew is a Ghana legend, but whether he can put in his best performances after time away from the European game is another matter.
