The cousin of Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is creating a transfer buzz.
The People says Ipswich Town are closing in on 18-year-old Southend midfielder Kane Ferdinand - cousin of Manchester United star Rio.
Brighton, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are also keen.
With Forest in the playoff race, it could be that a third Ferdinand - after Rio and Sunderland's Anton - will be playing in the Premier League next season.
