Forest keen as Brighton boss Potter admits Murray could go

Brighton boss Graham Potter concedes they could lose Glenn Murray in January.

The striker has been linked with a loan switch to Nottingham Forest and is likely to be of interest to other ambitious Championship clubs.

Potter told The Argus: “He has been on the pitch for us.

“He came on at the weekend and I am pretty sure he will be involved in the coming weeks.

“He has been really important in what we have achieved here so far.

“He has helped the younger players. He has helped Aaron (Connolly). He has helped Neal (Maupay). He is a really important member of the group.

“At the same time I respect his career, I respect where he is at and what he has done for this club.

“Ultimately Glenn decides really in that respect but hopefully he wants to stay here and be a part of what we are doing. He has been great for us."
