Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper says they must focus on themselves as they battle against the drop.
Forest meet Wolves as the Premier League resumes this weekend.
Cooper said today of the season run-in: "We are really focusing on ourselves. This is the time of the season where you're playing for something, it's honed in even more.
"There are only 11 games left so it's becoming a tense time of the season, for everybody. It's important to not fear that - we have to recognise that's how it is in Premier League.
"When you're fighting for something, and something that matters, you have to feel the emotions that go with it.
"Personally, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else than where we are now. Sure, it would be nice to have more points and a better league position, but thinking about what's happened since promotion to now, we can be reassured and confident to know we can succeed in the next period of the season. That's what we're aiming to do.
"It will be hard, but the best thing is we're in control. We don't have to rely on others, only on ourselves. It's a good position to be in, but we have got to make the most of it. That's down to us."
