Norwich and Colchester may have to wait several weeks before their dispute over Paul Lambert is finally solved. Colchester chairman Robbie Cowling was angered by Lambert's decision to quit the club, along with Ian Culverhouse and Gary Karsa, in favour of joining the Canaries.
A Football League disciplinary hearing was held on Monday and a club spokesman for Norwich said: "(The) Football League Disciplinary Commission hearing regarding Paul Lambert's move from Colchester United to Norwich City has concluded.
"The Commission will now take some time to reach a verdict and will at that point communicate its decision to both clubs.
"This process could take a number of days or even weeks to complete and the club will not be commenting further until then."
